The Trad by Tony Dixon is our favorite cheap & cheerful whistle. Nice sweet & clean tone with just a pinch of edge/breath - what us whistle players like to call "chiff". Also nice that it has an in-tune 0xx 000 cross fingered C Natural note. You might have seen it available in nickel as well. We prefer the brass as it's a bit cheaper and has a slightly warmer tone - if only ever so slightly.
