Wow.
Peter Noy clearly pulled out all the stops when he made this special one of a kind instrument. Where do we start? Is it the flawless matched Cocus wood or the incredible keywork - including a right hand touch option for Bb? Peter's flutes are modeled after Nicholson type flutes. I'd say this one plays between a Nicholson and a Pratten. Big tone and volume while still being extremely expressive and responsive. And the foot keys! Peter makes some of the best foot keys I've played - C# and C speak with ease and power - snappy! Oh, and interchange the center section with the Eb body and you've got two flutes in one! Seriously tempted to purchase this one for myself if I wasn't so joined at the hip with my main flute (6-key Cocus Olwell Nicholson).
Many of you know that Cocus of this quality is REALLY hard to come by. The previous owner said that this may have been the last Cocus flute Peter was going to make.
Needless to say we are thrilled to be able to offer you such a world class instrument!
