This stunning Boxwood flute by Peter Noy features hand-hammered, gold-plated rings, silver-capped tenons, and a screw cap crown adorned with a fire-opal jewel. The flute showcases Peter's Rudall-style embouchure cut, with the rest of the design being uniquely his own—blending elements of Rudall and Pratten styles, resulting in a smaller-holed flute reminiscent of a small to medium-sized Rudall. Incredibly responsive, this flute offers excellent playability. Originally keyless, it includes the original non-keyed foot, though the previous owner was able to play it chromatically using forked fingerings, with the exception of an Eb, and later added a foot with an Eb key. As Peter is no longer making flutes, this is a rare opportunity to own one of his exceptional instruments.
