No, not an Irish flute but a lovely handmade Boehm flute by Miyazawa of Japan. To get more info on this flute, I called Miyazawa. They said that this flute would fall somewhere between their current 202 and 402 models ($4k and $6.5k respectively) and that they suspected this flute was made in the 1980s. Serial number is 39126.
This flute is silver plated PCM. PCM primarily consists of silver and copper, along with other precious metals which offers a brilliant sound, quick articulation and outstanding projection.
