Michael Copeland makes some of the most exquisite Irish Whistles and Irish Flutes on the market.  The name Copeland has become synonymous with extraordinary craftsmanship and unsurpassed performance.

Copeland whistles are favored by professional musicians too numerous to mention.  Several of my own favorite performance instruments are Copelands.  They're fabulous!

Copeland flutes are among the most handsome flutes I've ever seen
and they sound as good as they look!
Crafted of African blackwood or Brazilian Rosewood,
these magnificent instruments are based on a Prowse model. 
The flutes offer a rich tonal pallette ranging from warm and sweet to a reedy "bark".  They have good volume and are excellent session flutes.
Another real advantage to a Copeland flute is that post-mounted keys can be added at a later time as desired. :)
